House hunting checklist

Melbourne is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with lots of different options for students, from on-campus halls of residence, to nearby share houses, and a massive array of suburbs around Melbourne. When you are researching and organising where to live, it is hard to know if you are making the right choice, and it can hard to know when you are finished!

This guide will help you understand the different accommodation options and show you the steps involved in securing a place to living in Melbourne. It is organised as a timeline of when the ideal time is to complete the different steps.

If you have questions as you make your way along, particularly about accommodation options specifically for students, please email us and we will always do our best to help!
