THE ROOMS
Two rooms up for grabs in a fully furnished house, so you won’t have to deal with the usual moving chaos. Both rooms are solid, bright, and ready to go. The layout and furniture will change because I am getting new ones, mattresses are available so you don't have to worry about carrying anything heavy up the stairs. Rent is $1400 per month, with bills (utilities + WiFi) split evenly. Bond is one month’s rent, and the lease is flexible, but ideally looking for someone keen to stick around for at least 6 months.
LOCATION
Location is EXCELLENT. You’re a 2 minute walk from UniMelb and the tram stop, which basically means you can roll out of bed and still make it on time. Woolworths is literally around the corner, and you’ve got Lygon Street, Carlton Gardens, cafes, restaurants, and bars all within a short walk. It’s one of those spots where you barely need a car because everything’s just there.
HOUSEMATES
You’ll be living with me, 22, doing a Bachelor of Science at UniMelb. I’m pretty social, always up for a chat or hanging out, but also respect personal space when needed. I also don't mind grabbing a pint at the Clyde(right across the street). The house vibe is easygoing and balanced—definitely not a party house, but also don't want one of those silent, awkward setups where everyone avoids each other.
ABOUT YOU
Looking for someone early to mid-20s, preferably a student, who’s clean, respectful, and actually knows how to live with other people. Social is great, chaotic is not. If you’re the type to communicate, clean up after yourself, and not disappear when it’s time to take the bins out, you’ll fit in well. If you have a friend that is interested too, yall can get the two rooms and move in together!
ABOUT THE HOUSE
Fully furnished and set up to be genuinely livable. The bathroom and shower are in separate rooms (huge win), and you’ll only be sharing with one other person, so no morning traffic jams. The whole place is just easy to live in—good layout, great location, no weird compromises.
