Description
Lease transfer for students only!
Hi everyone! I've currently got a room at UniLodge Lincoln House available for next year and I'm looking to do a lease transfer as I'll be moving into a flat.
I'm happy to transfer anytime in late January or February. For you, the lease will end in early February 2026, so perfect for a year of studying at UniMelb or RMIT. You can also extend your stay beyond February 2026 if you want.
Rent is currently $361pw, increasing to $374pw on 10 February 2025.
A bit about the property:
Lincoln House is located right next to the University of Melbourne and RMIT just outside the free tram zone, about a 1 minute walk from Lincoln Square tram stop (all the Swanson St routes), or a 3 minute walk from the Haymarket tram stop (routes 19, 59, 58). It's also a short walk or tram to Melbourne Central Train Station. Getting to anywhere in the city is super easy, by tram/bike/walking.
Going to Uni is a 5-10 minute walk.
There's a convenience store on the ground floor, plus some other Asian grocers and convenience stores within a few minute walk. Queen Victoria Market, Woolies and Aldi supermarkets are also 5 minute walk away. There's also several parks and gardens within a short walk as well.
Your room features a really good desk, bed, set of draws and shelves, with a good amount of space to store stuff. Bathrooms/showers are communal, but from personal experience they're generally pretty clean. Each floor has a small fridge for your to store stuff, and a small kitchenette with a microwave and sink. The main kitchen is communal on the ground floor, and has microwaves, ovens, stoves, large fridges and freezers, and a locked space for your own food and cooking stuff, plus tables to eat and socialise at.
There's also a rooftop deck with BBQs, a basic gym, laundry, 2 indoor lounges with pool tables and stuff, and several study rooms.
I've found the place to be pretty decent to stay at. One of the best parts is definitely the regular social events where it's pretty easy to meet new people and have some fun.
And finally the view from this particular room is really great, I've attached a few photos of it. You get a decent amount of natural light as well.
